A border design is a good choice when one part of the garden needs a complete rethink. Sue creates planting combinations around your taste and the border’s particular soil, light and scale, using structure, colour, texture and contrasting forms to provide interest across the seasons.

The finished design includes a scaled, coloured planting plan showing the position and quantity of each plant. Supporting information covers site preparation, planting and establishment, with a plant schedule showing images, descriptions, mature height and spread, season of interest, quantities and suggested suppliers.

Sue’s practical experience of planting and maintaining gardens informs every choice. Plants are selected for how they will grow together over time, rather than only for their appearance on the day they are bought.
