The first space that Sue helped us with was to the rear of our newly-extended home and little more than a muddy building site. Our budget was limited but her vision and clever planting resulted in a contemporary and low-maintenance design that looked wonderful all year round - even when being tended by a complete garden novice like myself!

A few years later we moved again, this time inheriting a small garden that had been carefully tended by an elderly lady since 1969, but which now needed updating. I had a dream of introducing wild flowers into this design, mixed with grasses and enough ‘structure’ to keep the garden looking interesting in the winter months - but had absolutely no idea where to start! We called in Sue and, after listening carefully to our rather vague plans, she put together a planting scheme that exceeded our expectations, and - three years later - is still admired by visitors.
