Postage: The cost of postage is worked out by the total weight of your order for first class and recorded delivery this is worked on out the new packet rate and £1.00 is added to cover the cost of packaging. An example cost of postage for six pick and mix young plants to the UK by first class post would be £3.38. Trugs are posted by Royal Mail standard parcels and the postage is included in the price listed to addresses within the UK. If you require a Trug to be sent to an overseas address please contact us to obtain a quote.
OVERSEAS BUYERS: We can not send bulbs or plants outside of Europe. Airmail to Europe is via small packets which normally takes between 5 and 7 days from the date of posting. Please note the maximum weight for small packets is 2kg. An example cost for postage of six pick and mix young plants to Europe by Airmail small packets would be £4.19.
DELIVERY: We aim to send all orders within 2 working days of cleared payment. With the exception of Trugs, please allow up to 28 days. All bulbs and bare root plants are sent in padded jiffy envelopes and the young & plug plants are packed in special plastic containers. These costs are included in the postage and packing charge.
We can not be held responsible for any parcel once passed to the Royal mail. We do obtain a proof of postage for every item. In the unfortunate circumstance that your parcel does get lost, we will assist in helping you claim a refund from the Post Office they offer compensation up to the market price, to a maximum of £32. You also have the choice of postage if you wish the item to be sent by recorded delivery.
